We are celebrating the Autumn Harvest season at this month's Hailsham Farmers' Market with visits from Hailsham Parish Church Choir, Hailsham Bonfire Society and a children’s Harvest Hunt.

We have a wide selection of local, high-quality traceable produce and crafts with meat products from traditional Sussex breeds at Cooper’s Farm to Renhurst Farm’s excellent range which also includes pre-prepared pies/meals and cured meats.  Fresh fish and seafood from The Angry Whelk, baked goods from The Homely Maid and a selection of delicious cakes from Carol’s Confections – whole or by the slice – extend the range of locally-produced goods on sale at the Farmers’ Market.

Wallace Plants will be offering their usual extensive range of ornamental plants as well as kitchen garden starter plants and herbs.  The Bee People have a wide selection of honey-based products including freshly-gathered honey, marmalade and chutney, as well as skin care products and beeswax candles.

Helping us look after wildlife in winter, Woodworx Sussex have a range of hand-made sturdy hedgehog homes, bird, bat and bee boxes, as well as their usual ornamental and functional planters and trugs.

Hailsham Bonfire Society volunteers will continue their fund-raising work selling programmes and showcasing their costumes for Hailsham Bonfire Night which takes place in the town centre on Saturday 21st October.
